“In a world where pundits and politicians seek to ‘reclaim manhood’ with easy answers, MASC leads with the questions…”
What is masculinity? And what is it doing to us? MASC follows the personal journey of Andy Motz, the gay son of a conservative pastor, as he interviews a diverse group of individuals living out masculinity marked by kindness and joy. The participants break down their experiences across gender, race, age, and class leading Andy to question his own fundamentalist Christian upbringing, culminating in an interview with his dad to better understand his own relationship with gender.
